Legal
Postcast is operated by After Video, Inc., a New York corporation with its principal place of business in Astoria, Queens, New York ("we," "us," "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Postcast and any related websites, tools, or services we operate under the toolsfornews.com domain (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using the Service, you ("you," "user") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
Postcast is a browser-based tool that helps you rebuild social-media-style posts — such as tweets, Truth Social posts, Reddit posts, or similar content — into animated videos using typewriter and highlighter effects. You supply the content (via upload, paste, or manual entry); the Service turns it into a video file you can download.
Postcast is a creation tool. We do not generate, moderate, store, or publish content on your behalf. What you make with Postcast stays on your device unless you choose to share it.
Some features require you to create an account with an email and password. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@toolsfornews.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the Service. If you're in the EU or UK, you must be at least 16. Accounts that violate these age requirements will be terminated.
You retain all rights to the content you supply to Postcast and to the videos you create using the Service. We claim no ownership of your content and will not redistribute, publish, or monetize it.
You are solely responsible for what you create, modify, publish, or share using Postcast. This includes any rebuilt post, altered text, changed timestamps, modified usernames, or any aesthetic or stylistic changes you make. Postcast does not verify, authenticate, or fact-check the content you process.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

If we reasonably believe you have violated these acceptable use rules, we may suspend or terminate your account without refund.
Postcast offers a free tier and paid plans (Pro and Studio) with monthly or annual billing. Paid plans are processed by Stripe, Inc., our payments provider. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You can cancel any time from the "Manage subscription" option in your account menu, which opens Stripe's Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period unless otherwise noted. We don't automatically refund unused time.
Payments are generally non-refundable. We may issue refunds at our sole discretion — for example, in cases of duplicate billing, technical issues that prevented use, or where required by consumer protection law (e.g., EU 14-day withdrawal for new subscriptions where no substantial use has occurred). Contact info@toolsfornews.com for refund requests.
We may change subscription prices. If we do, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email before the change applies to your next renewal. You can cancel before the change takes effect.
The Postcast name, logo, website design, codebase, user interface, and documentation are the intellectual property of After Video, Inc. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of these materials except as expressly permitted in writing.
When you use Postcast to create a video, you own the video. We grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that output for any lawful purpose.
Postcast helps you rebuild visual styles that resemble posts from third-party platforms (X/Twitter, Truth Social, Reddit, Instagram, etc.). Those platforms' names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these platforms.
Your use of reconstructed content is subject to the terms, copyright policies, and community guidelines of the platforms you reference. You are responsible for complying with those rules.
If you believe content created with or hosted by Postcast infringes your copyright, send a takedown notice to info@toolsfornews.com including: (a) your contact information; (b) a description of the work; (c) the URL or specific location of the infringing content; (d) a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is unauthorized; (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act; and (f) your physical or electronic signature.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or harmful components. We do not warrant that exported videos will meet any particular quality standard or play correctly on all devices and platforms.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or statutory consumer rights in your jurisdiction.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall After Video, Inc., its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service — including damages for lost profits, lost data, or reputational harm — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or US $100, whichever is greater.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or if we reasonably believe your conduct creates risk of legal liability for us or other users.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we'll notify registered users by email and update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. EU consumers retain any mandatory rights of their local jurisdiction.
